The Shy Exhibitionist 1

This print is currently 1/2 based on my own personal experiences of the world of cyber-sex.
Although the image is intended to be cartoonish and humorous, the intent is to examine 21st century sexuality and my own modest explorations in this world. I have always been a big fan of erotic printmaking, comic art and erotic cartoons.
I used self-taken explicit pics (originally taken for posting on the net) to create the narrative and give the cartoon-style, an artistic basis in reality (And because I can't draw in a cartoon style!). The female figure is copied from an 'Amateur' porn-site.
If you like this, check out 'Shy Exhibitionist 2' and the other works in my EROTICA gallery .[link]

For many creative people, reconciling 2 lives is a constant struggle. Whether it is between work and art or other commitments, keeoping 2 different strands running seperately is always hard. Things can get even stranger when you have 2 different avenues of creativity, that have crossovers but essentialy serve different purposes and are for different audiences, trying to co-exist alongside each other.

For a long time, I have played around with erotica in my artwork and also in my life. For the last few years I have been enjoying the delights of 21st century techno-sex, by writing an adult-blog, posting explicit self-taken pics on the net and meeting a lot of intelligent, creative erotic adventurers in the virtual world.

Although I opened my DA account to showcase my art, as time has gone on I have come across more and more exhibitionists, expresing themself sexually through their art directly or in a more exhibitionist sense. This is apart from the people who like to do work based on the human nude in some sort of asexual, ideal, natural beauty type way (Sorry guys if the kit is off, it's sexy!). A lot of people who have a commited approach to nudes, and erotica can get pissed off with the disrespectful lurkers and the sleazes (Which If I am aroused by any of this work, then I guess I am one?) which is at once understandable and on the other hand unavoidable, so deal with it!

So as time has gone on, I have featured more of my erotic artwork and recently made the brave step of posting some of my nude reference pics (partly for the artistic interest and partly, to be honest, for the thrill of exposing myself in this arena. This has brought together 2 strands of activity in my life, that I usually try to keep seperate. My creativity can inform my sexual expression, but I should be careful because my sexual expression could colour how people see my art?

Imagine my even greater surprise when my recent 'Reference Nudes' got more pageviews than any of my 'art' submissions, despite not being in the photography or artistic nude sections or anything!
It seems that even when it comes to a hirsute, older male, not a nubile young hottie,, getting your kit-off gets results. Sex sells and on DA it's free!

So am I going to be an 'artist' or an ass-tist'? Should I give up my serious attempts at art and get nekkid instead lmao!

Not that I mind either way, I try to be honest and I get horny when I make erotica and horny when I see it, thats what it is supposed to do. I can be a serious artist but I am also a hot-blooded human. If you like my art, thats awesome, if you like my ass that's awesome too and if you like the way I use my ass in my artwork, even better, you, like me are getting the best of both worlds!

P.S - If you are interested in my erotic life, web-presence, explicit pics etc. Note me for details and email, I'm always happy to share.....XXX

Hey, thanks so much for your words and for the watch and for the favourite too!! It really means a lot to me, thanks again.

Thanks very much for your encouraging message. I am glad you liked those, though I need to do some more. One of the things I like about stencils is that you can try different approaches and backgrounds with the same image. Thanks for reminding me to do more, always more. P.S Really liked your work and am looking forward to seeing more.
